Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the SinewsLink Local Economy application ("SLLE" or "the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

SLLE is a mobile platform that connects consumers with local businesses and communities. The App provides features including but not limited to: business discovery, community posts, messaging, event listings, mentorship connections, and business analytics tools.

3. Account Registration & Age Requirements

You must provide accurate, complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

Age Requirements:You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. If you are between 13 and 17 years of age (a "Minor"), you may only use the App with the consent and under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by these Terms. The supervising parent or guardian is fully responsible for the Minor's conduct and any consequences arising from the Minor's use of the App.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of content you create on the App. By posting content, you grant SinewsLink Inc. a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content within the App and for promotional purposes.

You agree not to post content that:

• Is illegal, harmful, threatening, or harassing
• Infringes on intellectual property rights
• Contains spam or misleading information
• Impersonates another person or entity
• Violates any applicable laws or regulations

5. Business Accounts

Businesses registering on the platform must provide accurate business information. Business profiles are subject to verification. Premium business features require a paid subscription. SinewsLink reserves the right to reject or remove business listings that do not comply with our guidelines.

6. Payments & Subscriptions

Premium features are available through paid subscriptions processed via Stripe. Subscription terms, pricing, and cancellation policies are displayed at the time of purchase. All prices are in Canadian Dollars (CAD) unless otherwise stated. Refunds are handled in accordance with our refund policy and applicable consumer protection laws.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Attempt to access other users' accounts
• Use the App for fraudulent purposes
• Interfere with the App's operation or security
• Scrape or collect user data without consent
• Use automated systems to interact with the App
• Circumvent any access restrictions or security measures

8. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, features, and content (excluding user content), is owned by SinewsLink Inc. and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, at our sole discretion and without prior notice. You may delete your account at any time through the App's settings. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

SinewsLink Inc. provides the App "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SinewsLink Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SinewsLink Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada and the Province of Ontario, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario, Canada.

14. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes through the App or by email. Your continued use of the App after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
